Birmingham Sigmas had out hygiene packs to 7th graders at Minor Middle School

True leadership begins with service, and our newest brothers wasted no time putting that principle into action.

On March 19, the chapter visited Minor Middle School to distribute essential hygiene care packages directly to 7th-grade students. Organized and led as the service project for our newest members, the initiative was designed to meet practical daily needs while reinforcing positive self-care and confidence during a pivotal transitional year in these young scholars' lives.

Stepping into the gymnasium to hand out kits, share words of encouragement, and connect with the students face-to-face captured the exact spirit of hands-on community engagement we strive for. It wasn’t just about providing resources—it was about showing these scholars that their community sees them, supports them, and is invested in their well-being.

Watching our newest brothers take the lead on this project represents everything our chapter stands for: purposeful action, immediate impact, and a lifelong dedication to uplifting our neighborhoods from day one. We are proud of their hard work and grateful to Minor Middle School for welcoming us into their halls.
